Sóskút

This settlement with 3300 inhabitants is located in the valley of Benta-brook situated southwest from the Tétényi plateau at the end of Zsámbék basin. The positive nature of the environment is created together by the diversified and eventful terrain and the valley of the brook. In the nature reserves plenty of rare animals and plants and relics of industrial history can be found. The tradition of quarry and stone production was developed for centuries thanks for the geologic structure of the area. In the characteristic mountainous plateaus and slopes fruit and grape growing is being done, where also the relics of the folk vineyard farming can be found such as press houses and cellars.
